CCSD Health and School Safety Tools

All Clark County School District (CCSD) schools are equipped with life-saving tools for specific emergencies. These tools are provided for medical interventions. These include:

  • Automated External Defibrillators (AED). 
  • Epinephrine (Epi-Pens). 
  • Naloxone nasal spray (NARCAN).
  • Stop the Bleed Kits.

Nevada WebIZ Public Access Portal

Nevada WebIZ is a confidential online Immunization Information System (IIS) used statewide by doctors and nurses to keep track of their patients’ immunizations. Through the Public Access Portal website:

  • Parents and legal guardians can print official immunization records for their child(ren) (ages 0 through 17 years), and
  • Adult individuals (ages 18 years and over) can print an official immunization record for themselves.

This is an official record and can be used as proof of immunization for school entry, summer camp, employment, etc.

UNLV Health Pediatric Family Support Center Clinic

The UNLV Health Pediatric Family Support Center Clinic is now open. Scheduled appointments and walk-ins are welcome at no cost for all CCSD students, ages 3-21. Services include sick visits, general care, and specialty care. See the flyer here for more information.

Bower School-Based Health Center and CP Squires School-Based Health Center offer free primary care and preventative health services to children of the Clark County School District. See the flyer here for more information.

Hazel Health Pediatrics

Students can access health services from home through our partnership with Hazel. Sign up in minutes, and message the Hazel Health pediatrics team for same-day care. See the flyer here for more information. 

Checking Your Student Before Leaving Home

In an effort to keep our students and staff healthy, please check your child each morning prior to sending them to school to ensure that they are not ill. If your student shows any of the signs indicated on this flyer, keep the student home and contact your medical provider for guidance.
