New CCSD Emergency Numbers

CCSD uses the Finalsite/Parentlink communication system to send text message notifications to parents/guardians. The system is used to share important information with families, including routine updates and urgent safety notifications. Starting Monday, April 20th, CCSD will transition from a 5-digit short code to a 10-digit phone number format.

The existing short code will be replaced by three CCSD-assigned numbers:

Please save all three new numbers in your contacts to ensure emergency alerts are recognized and not ignored.

Student Records Requests

The Clark County School District has transitioned from Scribbles to Parchment as the official platform for transcript and student record requests. This change impacts requests for current high school seniors, alumni, and third-party organizations (e.g., colleges, employers, and agencies). 

  • High school seniors can request transcripts for free at transcripts.ccsd.net, transitioning this work away from the school site.
  • Out-of-district record requests for students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 can be directed to k12records.ccsd.net.

JFM Library Catalog

The Destiny Library Catalog is now available for families to view with guest access. Families can use guest access to assist their student(s) in reviewing books for library checkout. Access the John F. Miller School Library Catalog HERE. For directions on how to use the catalog, click HERE.

New Resource - Accessible Adaptability

Accessible Adaptability a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to providing personalized care that meets the unique needs of each patient and their family with medically complex conditions. Our focus is on delivering family support, equipment support, education, and advocacy for those with medically complex disabilities. We strive to enhance the well-being of our families and their loved ones through advocacy, family support, social support, and equipment needs not covered by insurance. We serve families across Southern Nevada. Accessible Adaptability is dedicated to making every moment matter.

JFM Monthly Family Meetings

Our monthly in-person gatherings give our families the opportunity to meet other Miller families, learn about available resources, and build connections within our school community. Meetings take place at 9:30am on the John F. Miller School campus and alternate between Wednesdays and Thursdays to provide an opportunity for all to attend. National School Lunch Program 

All National School Lunch Program Schools will Continue Free Meals in the 2025–2026 School Year.

Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada

The mission of the LACSN is to preserve access to justice and to provide quality legal counsel, advice, and representation for individuals who are unable to protect their rights because they cannot afford an attorney. For more information, visit https://www.lacsn.org/.

Ask-A-Lawyer Event - Provides FREE 15-30 minute consultations to those who cannot afford legal services.

Assembly Bill 195: Overview 


Assembly Bill (AB) 195 revises provisions relating to pupils who are English learners (ELs), extending the rights of EL pupils and parents/guardians. Section 3 of the bill provides an overview of the rights. Additionally, school districts are required to collect and report data concerning ELs, aiming to enhance transparency and accountability in the provision of education to these students, among other provisions. Schools support the implementation of AB 195 by verifying the posting of EL pupil and parent/guardian rights in the fall of each year and by reporting EL participation in athletics and extracurricular activities in the spring of each year.

2026-2027 Clark County School District Athletic Information


The Clark County School District (CCSD) offers a variety of athletic programs to meet the diverse interests and abilities of our student-athletes. Team levels vary from B Team (traditionally freshman students) to Junior Varsity (sophomores and juniors) to Varsity (seniors and some underclassmen). Information available HERE.

Students who attend charter schools are required to pay fees to participate in any Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association (NIAA) sanctioned sports as approved by the Board of School Trustees at the Regular Board Meeting on August 11, 2022. Each school must utilize the 2026–2027 Clark County School District Athletics Payment Form for all students participating in sports at their respective schools who attend a charter school. The form must be used for any sport the student is rostered for during the school year. See more information HERE.
